Modification de PDF très lente

New Here ,
Apr 07, 2025 Apr 07, 2025

Bonjour,

Merci !

Hi @margaux_4032

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the troubled experience.

Following are a few things we can try:

1. Please ensure your copy of Adobe Acrobat is updated, to check for any pending updates, launch Acrobat > Help > Check For Updates.

2. Try repairing Acrobat, Help > Repair Acrobat installation and try again.

3. Try classic UI: You can temporarily go back to the older UI, just to test this behavior and see if it impacts in your case:

Steps:

    •  Open Acrobat Pro.
    • Click the hamburger menu () in the upper left.

    • Click “Disable New Acrobat” (or look for “Revert to Classic Acrobat”).

    • Restart the app.

4. Disable Protected Mode, to disable launch Acrobat > Edit > Preference > Security (Enhanced) > uncheck -> "Enable Protected mode at Startup". Click Ok and relaunch Acrobat.

If none of the above helps, check Task Manager and see how much memory and CPU usage Acrobat is utilizing on average. And please share the specs of your machine. If this is an old machine there isn't much we can do, however, if it is an average machine and you recently have started experiencing this issue, we may try collecting some logs

Bonjour,

Je vous remercie pour votre retour.

1.
Pas de mise à jour à effectuer.

2.

Merci,

Hello!

I hope you are doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

Could you please check for the latest update of Acrobat version 25.001.20458? The planned update is on April 15, 2025. Go to Help > Check for Updates, install any available updates, restart the machine, and then check if the app is still slow while editing.

If the issue still persists, please share the current version of the operating system installed, collect the logs from the machine, and share them with us for further investigation.

As a workaround, you may try the following steps and see if this helps:

Disable Accessibility and Enhanced Features:

  • Go to Edit > Preferences > Accessibility and uncheck any options that are not needed. (Old Classic UI)

  • Also go to Edit > Preferences > General and uncheck:

    • “Show online storage when opening files”

    • “Show online storage when saving files”

    • “Enable native OS mode for optimal performance” (if enabled)

  • Reduce Page Thumbnails and Auto-Tagging Load:

    • Go to Edit > Preferences > Page Display

    • Disable “Use local fonts” and reduce rendering options

  • Ensure Hardware Acceleration is Enabled:

    • Go to Edit > Preferences > General

    • Make sure “Use 2D graphics acceleration” is checked.

Let us know how it goes. And if this doesn't help, please collect the logs, and the current version of the operating system installed information, and share them with us.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
