Hello, I'm trying to get the Microsoft Purview working with Adobe Acrobat to apply sensitivity labels to our PDF files.
I have followed the steps here: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/mpip-support-acrobat.html including making the REG_SZ edit to point to US_GCC_HIGH.
The bar/button now appear under 'Protect' but when clicking the Select a Microsoft Sensitivity Label and it asks me to sign in, I put in my email address, and the software crashes every time.

Acrobat forum should be a better place to discuss this. Moving it over.

I am new to this MPIP and AIP integration, so will try and do my best to understand what is going on.
Have you been able to contact Adobe Customer Support or Microsoft Support to check what is the current status on the AIP Office365 Add-in?
According to Microsoft, two weeks ago they mentioned about the AIP for Office365 Add-In on Microsoft Windows is currently on maintenance mode.
They recommend to continue to use the labels provided in the Office365 apps.
See here:
That being the case, it would make sense to me if the issue is triggered due to missing an update for the AIP unified labeling client and also for the labeling scanner.
Checkout the release notes version history for the AIP unified labeling client:
In that link above, prior to Version 2.14.90.0 a known crash was identified when the AIP add-in would try and set a file label.
Here is the AIP Admin Guide for custom configurations as an additional reference:
Most the info available online comes up for the AIP, and very little information is detailed or documented for the MPIP portion.
