Please can you help me with a problem.
I sometimes print a lot (5000+) of seperate, different documents to the Acobe Acrobat PDF printer.
The seperate files take a few seconds to prepare so a file is printed every 2 to 3 seconds.
Normally no issue, but after an recent adobe update there is a problem:
- Every printed file seems to create a seperate Adobe Distiller Background process
- In the taskmanager all the Acrobat Distiller / Arcotray processes and head process 'Creating Adobe PDF' are taking up all of the memory
- After about 200-300 processes in memory it crashes due to memoryissues
- The background processes do not close themselves untill the printing process is paused or stopped. Than processes are automaticly closed one-by-one by the speed of 1 per second.
Can someone please help to fix this? I couldn't find a solution in another topic.
(I use Win 10 and Adobe Acrobat 2017, and de DoPrint-commands are from VBA)
