Hello Everyone,.

I am trying to install the newest version of Adobe Reader on a laptop. This is a brand new Windows 10 build with the latest OS. This also a brand new installation of Adobe Reader and I am experiencing some bad issues installing the application.

I am getting the following errors.

1328 error

1721 error

1603 error

Newer Version is Installed

Can anyone please advise me how to fix this problem? I am at wits end.

Thank you.

Did you uninstalled first an older version that you had installed before?

Maybe before you install anything, you should remove all traces of the old software.

Use the Acrobat Cleaner Tool: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

before re-installing.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing to install the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC?

Please try to remove the application using Acrobat Cleaner Tool - https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link - https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ and check.

Amal
