my acrobat keeps hanging when I click tools to sign a document

Hi, my acrobat professional DC 2015 (for Mac) keeps hanging when I click tools to fill and sign a document. Can you kindly tell me what is the issue and how to resolve it? My Acrobat is up to date but Adobe says support is no longer available for my product version.

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs ? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer locally and then try again.

Also, try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau...

You may also try to create a new test user profile or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.

Thanks Amal, I was told the support and updates for my Adobe Acrobat DC Pro 2015 has stopped and hence it may not support my current macOS Monterey. I guess I have to change to monthly subscription or buy a new license which is quite frustrating because I paid for the license only 7 years ago and the support is no more there.
