My button is bigger than the actual icon button...help!

I am using an icon as a button. But when I export to PDF, there is this invisible box around my actual icon button, so it looks like the space above it is clickable too. If I try resizing it in the Properties, it distorts my icon button. How can I resolve this?

Yes, that is what I mean! I feel like there is padding around the button, extending the boundary of the button. But the button image is floating in the middle of that. If I change the size, it distorts the button image (icon).

In the options tab of the field properties, next Layout, click Advanced. Select Fit to Bounds, and scale Proportionally.

If that does not work please upload a file with the button in question.
