New GUI for Adobe Acrobat

My adobe acrobat seems to have updated to a new version that seems to try and copy what Edge and Chrome browsers do but there's a reason I never switched to those clunky GUIs.

Is there some way to revert back?

Everythign is literally backwards - I am spending hours just trying to figure out why I can no longer prepare a form from a non-fillable PDF and then I can't even try it out and then even worse is that it seems to want me to "send" the form. NOOOO.

This is really frustrating for someone who needs to use this in their daily work.  With other products like Microsoft they at least give you a toggle to switch between and just "try" out the new design.

This new GUI is just plain awful.

If there's no way to revert back to the good old useable stuff then does someone at least have some YT links that might help me transition? I'm behind on all my work as it is...

Fortunately, yes. Click the "Hamburger" menu at the top left-hand corner and select "Disable New Acrobat".

For Mac desktop OS, there's no hamburger menu. Go to View, Disable New Acrobat.

This might appear to be a minor issue, but I consider it another huge step backwards in the functionality of the application. The UI used to be nearly identical on all platforms and now there are major differences between them, which means that any tutorial or manual written for it needs to have two versions, one for Mac and one for Windows. This on top of the need to have instructions for the old UI and the new one makes it even more difficult to maintain a proper documentation.

Absolutely true!

Showing 4 variations of the interface in my books is insane!

So I solved it, temporarily, by adding pages at the beginning that show the shortcomings of the new "Modern" interface and how to disable it. Also put in a link where my book readers can give feedback directly to Adobe.

Let Adobe know:

You can voice your opinion about the new interface at UserVoice: https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/47082691-ditch-t...

Be sure to leave a comment about your opinion and experience with the new interface. They need to hear from us users.

FYI, UserVoice is Adobe's official website where it reads and takes into account suggestions and complaints from users of its various products.  On the other hand, this community forum is a user-to-user help forum and information posted here rarely reaches ears or eyes at Adobe.
