I purchased Acrobat 2020 Student and Teacher via download from Best Buy. This is the serial number version, which I have in my possession, and my status as a teacher was validated by Adobe. At first it kept asking for sign in every time I tried to launch it, and then quit without me reaching the Adobe server. After fixing that problem (Cleaner, Uninstall, turn off Firewall, etc), I did a reinstall. Now it doesn't ask me to sign in any more, it just won't open. I click on the app, and pouf, nothing. I am on a Macbook Air 2022 running Sequoia, and many other people in the Community say this should work. But for me, no. I am thinking of downgrading my MacOS as a result as I know it runs in earlier operating sysyems. Anyone have any ideas besides getting rid of Sequoia? I live in an area with little internet coverage, so moving to Cloud-based anything is problematic, hence the SN version.

2020 is rather old. If you select About Adobe Acrobat from the Acrobat menu, what is the exact version you see there?
If it's less than 2024, is there a reason you can't update to the most recent version, which does work well on Sequoia?
