Oct 11, 2025 Oct 11, 2025

Purchased a laptop from Dell. Returned it and got the replacement yesterday. However, the first laptop had Adobe Acrobat Pro 2000 installed. I already had it installed on another pc at the house. Now I need to deactivate the first laptop from Dell. However, I no longer have that laptop so am unable to deacivate it. Adobe suggested I post to the community. Can anyone help???

Sure.

1. Go to Adobe.com. Sign into your Adobe account (email address/Adobe ID and password) if you're not already signed in on your new system.

2. When you're signed in, go to the icon at the upper-right of the webpage and click on it. Just below where it shows your name and Adobe ID/email address, click on the Manage account text hyperlink.

3. This should open a new tab/window tagged Adobe Account at the top-left of the navigation bar. In that top menu bar, click on the Plans and Payment section of the navigation bar. In the sub-menu, click on Activated devices.

4. This will show a list of the devices assigned to your Adobe account. Find the instance(s) that refer to your old laptop, and click on the Deactivate button to the right of each instance. You have now deactivated your old laptop.

5. Load your software on your new laptop. When you open it, you'll have the opportunity to sign in with your Adobe ID/email address and password.

Done deal.

Hope this helps,

Randy

Try here: https://account.adobe.com/activated-devices

If it doesn't appear there, we can't help in any other way.
