No more link creation on PDF file

I was able to create a link out of a PDF files from my adobe acrobat pro 2024 001.20615

before now. I can no longer do it. How can I reboott adobe acrobat pro 2024 001.20615 to default?

What is the exact issue with creating links? Are you not able to find the tool to do it? Or can you find it, but it's not working? If not, what happens when you try to use it? Is there an error message?

Also, does it happen with all files, or just some?
