In our office our invoices are all in ADOBE ACROBAT PDF. They are fillable.

We have used the same PDF invoice for years. We are all on a network and save all invoices on one computer. ANytime we go in to update a payment etc we have had no issues but the last month, if one of our employees touches an invoice to update the rest of us can no longer edit that invoice in any way. It gives us a brown lock or gray x on the file. THen it gives us an error code 105 and says we can not save the changes. We have tried everything. Can you assist

It sounds like a network permissions/security issue.

She has been on the same network for years. She can touch all of our files and word documents are not affected. But when she goes into revise a statement. Then the brown lock or gray x appears on that file and when the rest of us go into revise the same file at a later date, it gives error code 105, and our changes cannot be saved.

What "flavor(s)" of Adobe Acrobat are you using (e.g. - Standard/Pro/Premium/Reader - local installs, group-managed and/or online services)?

As the other post intimates, this is most likely a network permissions issue, but knowing which flavor(s) of Acrobat you're using will help your IT people best determine which fixes will best work for you.

Hope this helps,

Randy

As an additional note: I'd suggest you have your IT folks look up exactly what the Adobe Acrobat 105 error entails. That will help your IT folks sleuth, and hopefully repair, your issues as well.
