Hi!
I have the latest acrobat DC standard.
When I'm trying to edit an existing text or just add a new text,
I'm experiencing a problem when trying to first type a number and then a text, it appears wrong.
For example,
If I want to type:
"5 Houses"
It will show as "Houses 5" instead.
I tried using the text direction option, tried to use CTRL+SHIFT, but nothing works.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix that?
Thanks

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Have you started experiencing this issue recently? What is the version of the Acrobat Reader you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 23.08.20458 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3NUcdFa and see if that works.
Let us know how it goes.

I've run into the same problem. This didn't work. I don't even know who this setting would be for that it would ever be a default. I'm just a dude trying to fill out a job application and I've had to install ANOTHER pdf editor to do that. Even though this is paid for and is supposed to be the original and best.
