Having nothing but problems with outlook 365 (on prem mail server) and acrobat pro DC, both are running latest released.  everytime i try to mass convert folders of email to PDF, it crashes, sometimes it will do 50, sometimes 100, and then the "failed to convert" warnings start and the job fails.

it happens with mass selection of email, and doing file save as PDF

it happens when right clicking the outlook folder and convering to PDF

it does not happen in Adobe acrobat XI Pro.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described when you try to mass convert folders of email to PDF, it crashes.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version of the application go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described in the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792...

Please try to create the PDF from the Acrobat ribbon present in the MS Outlook toolbar at the top and see if that works for you. Also please check for any missing/pending update for MS Outlook and see if that works for you.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

Amal

just tried 10 different ones, all were around 100-200 emails, none completed, most failed in the 30-50 message range.

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that. Please try to repair the installation of the Adobe Acrobat application from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works for you. Go to Help > Repair Installation and reboot the computer once.

Also, please checkout the similar discussion - https://acrobatusers.com/forum/pdf-creation/item-failed-convert/ and see if that helps.
