Objects distorted when trying to edit PDF-form

Hi.

We've been trying to create pdf-templates for a client, but i'm running into some frustrating problems.

The graphics (some lines, a few blobs, an icon and a logo) has been created in InDesign and exported  as a regular PDF. Then form fields are added in Acrobat pro DC.

The problem occurs when the client (Using Acrobat standard DC) clicks "Edit PDF" to add hyperlinks to the document.

Acrobat then goes through a conversion of some kind. Then the graphics sometimes distorts/rotates/makes an ass of it self. Some of the fonts might get stretched and the form fields might move.  (the same same happens when i click "edit pdf" in Acrobat pro DC).

I haven't been working a lot i Acrobat before. Mostly just checking pdf's exported from InDesign. Am i missing somthing obvious here?

Acrobats behaviour seems ridiculous to me in this instance.

Is there a way to add hyperlinks without having Acrobat convert (and destroy) all my graphics? (I know i can add them in InDesign, but the client needs to be able to write/edit the content and links)

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
