We currently tried to transition our system and came to the idea that it would be great to have every item in the server-folders being readable.
The issue arose that while selecting a folder it would automatically transfer docs and xls files to PDF as well.
Is there a way to automatically have them remove from the list?
Sadly, no. It used to be, though, before Acrobat XI...

Yes, its correct that this is something practically not possible to achieve. If you do not wish to convert the xls files to PDF or any other file format to PDF, then you might need to keep them separately.
There's no automated way to segregate the other list or remove from the list automatically.
