One click custom scan?

Explorer ,
Nov 13, 2016 Nov 13, 2016

In Acrobat XI, I had a menu button set up for one click custom scan. I could open Acrobat, click the custom scan menu button, set my scan parameters, and scan to a PDF. Since I've been forced to Acrobat DC, I've lost that ability. I set the menu button up as before, but the best that I've been able to get to is this: Open Acrobat, open a recent PDF document, then click the custom scan button (You can't get to the menu until a document is opened), click to deselect "Append to Existing File", Click the "My Custom Settings" radio button, and then click Scan. That is four clicks for what I used to be able to do this with one click.

I need to do this often, so if any one has any suggestions about how to to this with one click, I would sure love to hear about it. I haven't really been impressed with Acrobat since version 11, and I sure wish I could go back to it.

Thanks,

Sorry for the issue you are facing.

You need not to open any file for scanning. You can do this from File menu

- Go to File menu at the top left corner

- Select Create> PDF from scanner

- here you can click scan

This functionality is same as in Acrobat 11(1 extra click). But you need not to open any document or deselect Append checkbox here.

Hope it will resolve your issue.

Thanks.
