Hello,

as I explained in

reader DC loses path after digital signing - Adobe Support Community - 13086913

we have problems with signing of files that are in TEMP.

My colleague discovered that this problem disappears if one document is already open in acrord32.

At logon we now open an empty document, get the process ID and then hide acrord32. We have to wait 7 seconds to be sure the document is open.

I tried different tools that can start programs in hidden modus, but this does not work with Acrord32.

Does anyone know why it can not be opened hidden or maybe hass a solution to my first post?

Greetings

Andreas

Reader isn't designed to be a free tool for automating signing. For that you'd need to license Acrobat. Adobe may well have added features to prevent Reader being used in this way.
