Open to Specific Page in PDF Not working in browsers

Hello,

At my work place we are trying to use a specific pdf catalog and then on the website link to specific pages in that catalog. But I am hearing from staff and users it is only opening to the first page of the catalog instead of the specific defined page.

It seems to be more of an issue in chrome while some say they have it in other browsers too, and supposedly they have cleared their cache and the issue still exists.

Here is an example link

https://example.com/media/6585/catalog_final.pdf#page=57

Does any one know of a bug in browsers or know how to fix this issue so it will go to the correct page instead of the very first.

We know of many bugs in the (non-Adobe) PDF plugins in many browsers, yes. The only solution is to ask the developers of these plugins to fix them, and to instruct your users to avoid using them until they do. They should open the file in Adobe Reader for it to work properly.
