Opening a new pdf adobe will open in a different desktop

When opening a new pdf file adobe will open it in the last windows desktop were a pdf is still open. How to set the opening of a new pdf in the working windows desktop?

Sorry for the delayed response and for the troubled experience.

Try the following steps:

There are no preference settings to set the default screen to open a document.

To open the application on the main screen, please try the steps provided below:

Open Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and resize the window.
Move it to the main screen and close it.
Now open the application again and maximize the window.
Then close it.

Now check if it opens by default on the main screen.
