Hi all,

Recently when I try to open a pdf file I get the following error message:

"The operation could not be completed as Acrobat Reader doesn't have permission to access: ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library/Mail Downloads/272BA50E-B501-4478-B926-3E0EB49492E3/.

Launch privacy settings to grant access?"

Adobe Acrobat Reader does have access to all my documents.

Any advice?

Your Mac OS may be trying to protect the folder from prying eyes, go to System preferences (under the apple icon)> Security & Privacy (click the lock to make changes)> Privacy> Files & Folders> select Acrobat Reader to add it to the list of permitted applications (click the + button if it does not appear in the list of applications).
