When I open pdf documents from outlook on MAC, Adobe automatically adds a random number to the end of the file name. How do I stop it from doing this?

Let me move this to the Acrobat forum for you, which is the appropriate forum for your question.

Acrobat doesn't add anything to the file-name of the file. It's one of two options:
- Either that number is added by the email server or your OS when you download the file (for example, it might do that if there are already files with the same name in the downloads folder), or
- This number is a part of the file's title, which is displayed instead of the file's name. To check if that's the case go to File - Properties - Description and look at the Title field.

Since my Acrobat Reader did an update, I'm now getting numbers added to the file name from opening a pdf from my email on my Mac. They appear at the end of the file name inside [ ]. How do I stop this? It's really annoying. The file names are all new - they don't already exist on my computer.
