I opened a pdf, ran "Recognize Text" and then used the "Fill & Sign" features to populate information within the document. Then, I received an error message in a dialog box (but can't remember what was stated in it). When I saw this I clicked "Save" to prevent losing my content. Unfortunately, when I reopened the document I could only see what I added from the Fill & Sign menu and nothing of the original content of the pdf prior to editing.
May someone please advise if it's possible to recover this content?
What app does you use? Acrobat Reader can't run "Recognize Text".
It appears that you misunderstood my question because I stated that I did use "Recognize Text." Specifically, I used Acrobat Pro 2017.
Then you use the wrong forum.
