Until last week I was able to convert a group of emails to pdf from Outlook. It would include all of the attachements and worked very well. Now no matter what I do, I error out and it will not do all of them I hvae selected. I have restarted my computer multiple times. I repaired Adobe, I uninstalled and reinstalled. It still doesn't work. Any other ideas?

Hi Jenniferp,
Thanks for reaching out. As described above, you are not able to convert the emails to PDF from outlook, correct?
- What is the workflow/steps you are doing to convert the emails to PDF?
- Is this a behavior with emails only?
- What is the error message you receive when you try to convert the emails to PDF? Could you please share the screenshot of the same.
- Are you able to convert other format files to PDF present locally on your computer?
- What is the version of the outlook and Adobe Acrobat/Reader installed? To check the version of the application please use the link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html
- Check for any pending updates and try updating the outlook, also try to update the OS for any necessary and recommended updates, reboot the computer and see if that works for you.
We are here to help, just need more information
Regards

I have tried a few different ways to convert them. The usual way I did it, was simply highlighting them all, right clicking and selecting “convert to Adobe PDF”. I have also highlighted them all and then gone under the Acrobat tab and selected “selected messages” then “Convert to pdf”. In either instance, it stars the “creating Adobe PDF” Conversion progress. It gets through all of that, then begins to skip emails and the status shows “Item failed to convert” . It freezes up my computer and I usually have to restart.
The problem is only in outlook. My assistant is having the same problem. This has worked fine for years.
We have Adobe DC, the subscription version. We have outlook 365. We both have Windows 7.
I have updated everything. I uninstalled and reinstalled adobe. I have restarted numerous times.

Yes, adding to the conversation you should try to update everything as your first approach (operating system, Adobe Acrobat, MS office application), also try to uninstall and reinstall the PDF internet access pluging for Outlook and web browser, defaulting your Outlook as email handler in Adobe Acrobat, defaulting the PDF ownership back to Adobe Acrobat as opposed to MS Edge browser ( in the case of using Windows 10),
Post the same question in a Microsoft Outlook 365 support forum or TechNet forum.
And ensure that all dependencies, such as any other addons like VB Basic addins, visual C++ addins are also updated (or uninstall them if you prefer just for troubleshooting pirposes).
Try creating a new user account in that operating syatem and try again OR, backup your data, delete the current user profile for that Outlook account a create a new one.

That will work, however then the attachements are not there. This is how the convert feature worked several years ago.

So let's see if any of these help:
1) Right-click o nthe short cut icon of Outlook 365 (Outlook.exe), select Properties and then the Compatibility Tab. "Run this program in compatibility mode" should be unchecked. And then run the troubleshooter for this application. Right-click again Outlook.exe, and then select troublshoot compatibility---> troublshoot program---> use recommended settings
2) The steps above didn't work, then see here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2800094/incompatibilities-between-office-programs-and-adobe... <--------it involves some few extra steps together with registry editing
3) Also give this a try: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/compat/manage-compatibility-mode-for-office
This last link involves managing compatibility mode for office applications using Group Policy to set the default compatibility mode on file creation policy
Hope this helps
