I'm using the latest version of Acrobat (as of 12/16/2016), which is a 2015 Release.
I created a PDF file in InDesign, with 0 as values for all Margins. The exported PDF opens and previews in Acrobat correctly, but gets printed with an obvious margin (I have an image Flush on the Upper- Left Side that mysteriously indents itself left when printed). Under Page Setup, the Margins Box is grayed out, with "1" in every value. Printing with "Actual Size" checked helped slightly, but the Image is still not Flush; there's obviously still something creating this margin.
Has there been any successful work around for this issue? I've read several threads, but none of the efforts seem to be reproducing the PDFs 100% accurately in terms of sizing and margins.
EDIT I realize not all home/basic office Printers will do edge to edge or borderless printing, but it's frustrating that this option is still grayed out

The margin option never applies, it's put there by the system I think. You have the choice of
* fit to page: your original page size is scaled to fit inside the printers "cannot print" margins. Reader knows nothing about margins on the page, these are scaled too.
* do not scale: it's printed without regard to margins. If your design had margins as big or bigger than the "cannot print" margins then you see it all.
