Hello everyone, I created a form which I had to password protect in case of any incorrect entries. Now I noticed that it is not possible to fill out the form on an iPad, both with the Apple app and with the Acorbat reader. Has anyone ever had a problem like this?

That might very well be the case, although I haven't tested it.
But how does password protecting the file prevent incorrect entries?

The password is intended to prevent you from being able to edit the PDF and only fill out the existing form fields

Unless you have Acrobat you won't be able to do that anyway...

But the users who make the entries have it

But why would they fill out the data the wrong way?
What modifications did you password-protect?

Because, people make more work editing the PDF to fill in fields that they don't have to fill out.
I activated password protection and selected the permitted changes to “filling out form fields and signing existing signature fields”.

I do not know about today, but formerly the Acrobat on a mobile device was limited. That was the reason for having an app called “Fill and Sign”. That app will, however, be retracted and Acrobat will take over that functionality.
Preview (the Apple provided viewer) was even less capable.

It works with the Fill and sign app, but it doesn't work properly, it's probably just a bug or a feature that isn't implemented correctly

There were always problems with mobile devices and interactive PDF files.
