PDF를 마이크로소프트 엣지 브라우저에서 출력한 것과 어도비 아크로뱃에서 출력한 것과의 품질 차이

엣지 브라우저에서도 비교적 최근부터 PDF를 어도비 PDF 엔진으로 처리합니다.

아크로뱃도 당연히 어도비 PDF 엔진으로 PDF를 처리할거고요.

그런데 출력물은 솔직히 엣지브라우저에서 출력한 게 훨씬 좋아보입니다.

얇은 글꼴도 더 진하게 잘 나오고, 호환성도 더 좋습니다.

아크로뱃에서는 글꼴 오류나는 것도 엣지에서는 잘 나오고

아크로뱃에서는 이상하게 출력되는(특히 맥에서 생성한) PDF들도 엣지브라우저에서는 완벽하게 나옵니다.

요즘은 엣지브라우저가 PDF 기본 브라우저라서 엣지에서 출력내는 분들도 많은데

업장에서는 아크로뱃으로 출력하면 자기가 여태 출력해서 보던것과 차이난다고 클레임이 종종 나옵니다.

엣지브라우저에서는 RGB만 지원하고 기능이 별로 없기 때문에 인쇄출력으로 사용하기 적합하지 않는데

아크로뱃으로 출력할 때 엣지브라우저와의 품질 차이를 줄일 수 있는 방법이 있는지?

또는 업데이트를 해줄 수 있는지 궁금합니다.

You're right Microsoft Edge uses Adobe’s PDF engine now, but the way it handles fonts and colors may still look a bit different from Acrobat, especially when printing. Acrobat is designed to offer more control and features, which sometimes leads to small differences in how things appear or print.

If you’re seeing issues like thin fonts looking lighter or printouts looking different, here are a few tips that might help when printing from Acrobat:

1. Try changing the print settings – you can try enabling “Print as Image.” This sometimes helps with font or layout issues. Go to Print > Advanced > Print as Image
