PDF file closes automatically in windows 11

Installed Adobe X1 on a new laptop,  My pdf file closes automatically in windows 11.

Not enough time to read the file. HELP!!!

@DJ Big Dog chances are Adobe Acrobat X1 (2012) is not fully compatible with Windows 11, which is likely causing your PDFs to close immediately after opening.  If you are just viewing PDFs only, you can get the free Adrobat Reader from Adob themselves: https://get.adobe.com/ca/reader

Thank you responding to my inquiry with the response of "chances are Adobe Acrobat X1 (2012) is not fully compatible with Windows 11, which is likely causing your PDFs to close immediately after opening.  If you are just viewing PDFs only, you can get the free Adrobat Reader from Adobe".

Next question: I am doing more than viewing a PDF.  Are their any patches or workarounds to solve this problem?
