PDF files opened via Acrobat Reader do not show a header

Since two weeks we have the problem with some terminal server users that PDF files opened via Acrobat Reader do not show a header.
Since these are invoices, the users cannot see the company name and the invoice number.
The PDF is displayed correctly in Edge.
Opened locally in Adobe Reader the PDF is also displayed correctly.
The error message is: The Univers,Bold font could not be found or created. Some characters may not display or print correctly.
We have checked "Use local fonts" as a test. This helps for a few days, then it does not work again until you uncheck it.
The font is installed, all users are authorized to C:\Windows\Fonts, registry keys are available.
Since it worked without problems until two weeks ago, we assume an update is causing the error. 
Maybe you have a solution.
