PDF Form, Text Field Issue on Android Phone

I have created a fillable form. The form works correctly and can be filled in when I open it in Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my Desktop.

However, when I open the same form on a smartphone (android V11), the text field does not work as expected.  A single letter does not go into each separate box. (I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader app)

Instead, it tries to place all letters into the first box and ignores the other boxes in the text field.  Is there any way to ensure a single letter will go into each separate box?

I have set the 'Comb', when I right click on the text field and choose Properties, I have Comb of 15 characters set under options.  It just seems to be ignoring this on Android.

Here is an image to show what I mean: adobe text field issue.png

Any help would  be great!

PDF readers on phone and tablets are not full-fledged readers and do not support all options. But without seeing your form, it's difficult to make a guess.
