PDF merging storing policies

I merged a PDF today that I found out later contained very private information that really should not have been shared. I was wondering what the storing policies regarding merged PDF's are as this is regarding information I do not want to be kept by Adobe or sold to their partners. Do they store merged PDFs or are they deleted?

For additional information, I do not think I was loggednin when I merged the PDF so it should not be linked to my account on Adobe.

How did you merge the PDFs? When I merge PDF files, I do that in Acrobat DC (Pro) on my computer.

I just used this link. It let me do one merger for free without being logged into an account.
