Hi,

I'm trying to create submit form button on a pdf and I want the entire pdf file with the user input returned, but the PDF option is not available for me to select under the "Submit Form Selections"options. Does anyone know why I don't have this option available to me?

Thanks!

Are you using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC?

If yes, are you editing a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC that was produced with another PDF  software?

If no, are you trying to do this using Adobe Reader DC?

Go to Edit - Preferences - General and under "Scale for screen resolution" select "Auto-Detect", then restart the application and try again.

Thanks, I tried this and the "Auto-Detect" selection was already made. I tried re-setting and re-starting anyway but it didn't make any difference.

Hi Virginia,

Just following up and see if you were able to sort this out.

I can only think of two things:

1) Maybe the producer of this form is a software, other than Acrobat Pro DC, that may have some restrictions.

2) If the producing software of this PDF was done with Acrobat Pro DC:

  • What happens when you click on "Help" --->>> "Repair Installation"

  • OR, was this working before and all of a sudden you noticed the issue after the last updates were applied to your Acrobat Pro?
