I have Adobe Acrobat DC Pro (64-bit) and the search (CTRL + F) doesn't work as of the last few weeks.
PDF Version: 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)

The March 23 article doesn't help - my IT personnel attempted to input the key in regedit and I don't have a path to the feature state (nor do others). The latest patch comes back saying we don't have that file path either. We've made sure my adobe acrobat is up to date, we've also tried the repair install.
It would be nice if Adobe would push out a patch because there are multiple users having this issue.

Hi JCpdfuser,
Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.
Could you please share the Acrobat and OS versions used on your machine?
Do you get any error messages when you try to use the Ctrl+F? What happens when you select the option from the Edit menu?
Share the process logs using the steps suggested in the following help page: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/acromonitor.html.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
