PDF Security Settings

Hi,

We have a requirement to enable PDF security with password. Below are the areas we’d like locked.

1. Changing the Document - Not Allowed

2. Document Assembly - Not Allowed

3. Page Extraction - Not Allowed

4. Print should be allowed with High Resolution.

Our developer had tried to enabled PDF security using Acrobat SDK. After compile, the output PDF comes with Security enabled as good but the setting of Print quality comes in Low Resolution (150 dpi) by default not in the High Resolution settings. We need requirement to print the Security applied PDF in High Resolution settings.

Can any one please advise what argument should we need to call to get the High Resolution print settings by default in Printing allowed Box like below screenshot.

Note: We are using Acrobat 8.0 (8.1.3 patch).

Thanks,

Santhosh

These settings are not "protection", they are "usage restrictions".

It is a taboo subject here but if you ask Google you will quickly understand the difference.

This version (8) is beyond obsolete. Does it happen if you use the current version of Acrobat? (WARNING: test on a different computer. You will NEVER be able to reinstall Acrobat 8 and use it!!!)
