There are 2 ways to not have any formatting when a PDF is exported to a word processing format.

1) File / Export To  and select Plain Text.

This creates a .txt file you can then open in MS Word or any other word processor and edit. It will be unformatted, so expect to see Courrier fonts everywhere.

When you open the .txt file in Word, you'll be prompted to choose a text encoding system. Choose Windows Default.

2) File / Export To and select Word.

Open the file in Word, select the entire text file, and then select Clear All Formatting from any of the style menus. This will remove all of the formatting throughout and you'll end up with an unformatted document.
