PDF to XML , not converting object

Hi,

setup:- I am using Adobe Acrobart Pro.

Problem:-

I have a certain pdf with graph pictures in it. The picture is a vector image and graph can be converted in numbers.  I am unable to do so using Acrobat Pro:-

I convert the pdf using the export option to xml 1.0. The file gets saved as .xml but the vector images dont get converted, instead they get saved as .png files. 

Please help me with the same.

I don't know that images can be rendered as XML.

Correct, you will get png files for the pictures.
