PDFMaker office com add-in converts paste-linked Excel worksheets to Flash format

I "Paste link" an Excel Worksheet into a Word document with any wrapping option other than "In line with text".

If I save the document as a PDF using the Acrobat PDF Maker add-in, it comes out as blank (see below) Flash (SWF) content on the PDF.

This odd behavior does not occur if the paste-linked Excel Worksheet is inserted "In line with text".

Has anybody experienced this issue and/or know a solution?

I personally prefer using the "Top and Bottom" wrapping in my Word documents, and this behavior is a limitation.

The Excel Worksheet also prints correctly with any wrapping if the PDF document is created with the "File-Print-Adobe PDF" option of Word, but I also prefer the PDF Maker add-in with its automatic Bookmarks.

I am using the latest versions of Acrobat DC and Microsoft Office 2016.
