Performance Issue when inserting photos

New Here ,
Oct 31, 2025 Oct 31, 2025

Each time I try to insert a photo into a page, it causes the program to bog down, run slowly, and sometimes stop working.   Even after waiting a long time, you cannot easily move or manipulate the inserted image.

I have tried this on multiple files, multiple sessions, and have tried repairing the installation.
