Please specify if this is happening with every PDF document or just one particular PDF.
Seems like the PDF file have some sort of restrictions.
Is this PDF a form that was created with a software other than Adobe Acrobat Pro DC? (For example, a government form)

Adobe Root CA certificate expired on 07-jan-2023. Extended features like comment enabling is not working. Seems Acrobat needs to be upgraded to get updated Root CA certificate and use the updated certificate.

What is your actual version of Acrobat Pro DC, as shown by ABOUT? Not "latest" please, looking for a number like 2016.123.98765.

Hi,
I am already purchased Acrobat Pro Xi. What is the alternative solution to save the "Comment enable PDF" from Adobe Acrobat Pro Xi without upgrading to latest Acrobat DC Pro version.

2022.00120112 would be 2022.001.20112. That is not the latest, it's from April 2022. You would need, according to Impact of Adobe Root CA certificate expiration on Reader Extended PDFs, the November 2022 update 22.003.20282 (Win), 22.003.20281 (Mac). It may be that this update is not suitable for Mojave. I don't say this is a good situation. But do at least try to update Acrobat from its own menus - don't rely on Creative Cloud.

Yup, 2022.001.20112 apologies... Thanks for the info. It is a bit ridiculous, all other functionality seems to work.
Tried to update via Acrobat's own menu and jsut get notification "Adobe Acrobat is already up to date"

I have the same problem: The Nov. 2022 update requires OS 10.15 and cannot be installed under Mojave.
Is there any solution for Mojave?

I have created interactive forms that are distributed to several users. There are also users with older AdobeReader versions.

In this case a new version of adobe acrobat will also not help.
