If i open the pdf in Chrome the pictures are there, if i open it in Acrobat the pictures arent there. What could go wrong?

The pdf is made in InDesign, exported with the same preset as we use for years. Nothing changed, but still.

Thank you for your answers!

Hi Foeldy

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20142 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Web browsers use their own PDF mechanism to render and display the PDF contents and they are not Adobe-dependent.

As the PDF is made in Indesign and then exported, please check the export settings in  Indesign and check if that works.

Regards

Amal
