When I make changes in the preference settings, will they not save? the only option I get it to select OK or cancel and then as soon as I open another document, none of the changes I made are saved?

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble caused.

As the preferences are not saving, please try repairing the application and ensure that you are using the latest version available. In Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Repair Installation or check for updates.

When you are changing the preference setting, try relaunching after you save the changes.

Try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/3W1bSEB).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/42gG2qT.

If the issue still occurs, let us know.
