Premium Version is Useless

New Here ,
Dec 24, 2025 Dec 24, 2025

Hello,

I subscribed to the Premium plan through the Apple App Store, but the app still shows that I do not have an active plan. The subscription is only visible when I log in through the website.

In addition, there are major issues related to Arabic text handling:

  • When writing Arabic text in both the mobile app and the desktop app, the letters are displayed in reverse order.

  • When I choose to print Arabic text, the generated file appears empty, with only numbers visible and no Arabic letters at all.

Arabic text should display and print correctly, especially for a Premium subscription. These issues make the service unusable for my needs.

I would appreciate any help resolving the subscription recognition issue and the Arabic text display/printing problems. At this point, I am thinking of canceling my subscription if these issues cannot be fixed.

Thank you for your support.

EId, thanks for posting about your problems using your new active subscription for Acrobat through the Apple iTunes store. I am showing the subscription is active. Please make sure the device you are using is logged in under the same account you used to create this public discussion thread. If the device is managed by an organization, then you may need their assistance. Please see https://adobe.ly/4qhEfLu for more information on how to access your new subscription.

Where are you obtaining the PDF files that you are viewing in Arabic text? Are you creating them yourself? Do you encounter the same problem when using Preview on macOS or iOS, Eid? ^JW

@eid_5402 I always thought if you bought your Acrobat Pemium subscription through the third party, such as Apple App store, you are only getting the mobile version only (you don't get the full package of desktop, tablet and mobile)—just the mobile version. So, if you try on your PC or MAC desktop version, it won't work and would ask for an active plan — is this correct @Jeffrey_A_Wright ?

Hi eid_5402,

Adding to the information shared above.

As mentioned, you have Acrobat Premium purchased via the Apple App Store. is correct that the subscription is for the mobile application only. It cannot be used for the desktop application.

If you are using it on a mobile application, please refer to the information in the following help document: https://adobe.ly/4qi0AbO. If the issue occurs on the mobile application, ensure that you sign in to the application using the exact steps you initially used when purchasing the subscription.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
