Print 2 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 documents on on sheet of 8 1/2 x 11

I have a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 document I want to print 2 copies on 8 1/2 x 11 so that one complete copy is on the left and the other on the right.  ie: when I cut it in half I want 2 complete documents

If you use https://forums.adobe.com/people/Document%20Geek ‘s trick, you will get a quick result and in many cases a satisfactory print. But you need to know that you have no possibility to influence how the document is printed. It will always be the « fit » equivalent.

If that is a problem, you need to use either Illustrator or Indesign (or a similar program) to do a manual imposition.

Indesign and Illustrator allow for PDF files to be placed like graphics, so it is very simple to do the correct imposition on such a basic task. Doing a booklet imposition would ask for a little more thinking and work.
