Print to Adobe PDF splits image and puts white haze over portions of document

I am printing architecural drawings from Chief Architect and the PDFs keep getting split into these segmented portions causing a white haze over my drawings. I have tried different settings but have been unable to locate a proper resolution. Areas outside the grid look great. Grid location and size vary page by page.
