Printing to PDF Errors

I want to save all my recipes to pdf instead of printouts. I have successfully saved Word documents and scanned printouts to pdf. Usually, I have no problem "printing" to pdf from websites that provide a PRINT link. However, 2 documents from a well-known food app, "allrecipes!" caused errors when I printed to pdf. See attached examples which include areas that are barely readable when it transcriped the text.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this>pdf Example1.pngpdf Example2.png

Try using Acrobat's "Create PDF...from web page" instead. (Unless it needs a login).

Unfortunately, Acrobat can only make a PDF from what a browser sends to a printer, and sometimes it isn't up to much.

Look up "Print Friendly" on the web.

Any printing from a web page will always have issues but I've found that Print Friendly does about the best job of dealing with both HTML and Wordsmith built pages. In addition, after you click on the PDF button you can preview the page and by moving your cursor over the page, "trash cans" will appear and if you click on the trash can, the item in the box will go away. This is great for getting rid of unwanted ads and things unnecessary to your recipe. Be a bit forewarned on one issue, there is no Undo. So if you delete something that you did want, you have to cancel and start from scratch.

Even though I've had Acrobat Pro for many many years, Print Friendly is my go to application for any time I want a PDF off of a web page.

Good luck!
