Printing upside down on page 2. Only happens with pdf docs.   I tried long and short double side printing option

Contacted HP, they trouble shot the issue and siad it was an adobe issue

I called adobe they said i can get the answer on the forum.  NO such luck!!!!

Hi Anthonyl,

As you experience an issue while printing PDF,  try once to troubleshooting steps mentioned here Troubleshoot PDF printing in Acrobat and Reader

Please make sure that you select the radio button for "Flip on long edge" under Print on both sides of the paper.

Check if that makes any difference.

Try once to repair the installation.

Launch the application and go to Help > Repair Installation.

Also, check if the application updated to the latest patch released.

Do you experience this issue with all the PDFs or with some particular PDF?

I have the same problem with All pdfs. I select long edge printing, and all appropriate settings.

What settings do you have on Orientation?
Autorotate, Portrait or Landscape

Depending how the document is made I have sometimes experienced setting Portrait or Landscape, and then choosing Long or Short edge binding to be more predictable.

Hi Lukas,

I am having the same problem. What may comlicate things is that I am trying to print landscape pages in 1 x 3 groups in a portrait oritation so I can place inside a binder for note taking. I've attached my print setup. So far printing along long edge and short edge yield the same upside down results when comparing the front and back pages.
