Hi,

I have a problem of PDF's size every time, especially afeter working a lot of script and using the "SAVE" function in ACROBAT DC PRO ... the file take some octes every time .. 1 Mo .. 3 Mo .. 5 Mo .. 20 Mo ...

I read many of posts with the same problem here and i found the same answers and advices ... but with me, like some others, i can't obtain the solution and i think that there is a big problem with the sanving of acrobat pro ... no problem of fonts neither of picture quality  ...

the function of "SAVE AS" car reduce rarely the file's size but not completely and many times not

to discuss this differently, i post here a file of 1 Mo very simple with a little script to calculate the age of someone

Can you reduce-it to the minimum possible ?

Write me your result of the size obtained to discuss after ...

Have you tried the "Save as Other > Reduce size PDF" option or the "Save as Other > Save Optimized" option?

The size still more than 450 ko ... the max that the acrobat can do with me

but there is more and more possible reduction !!

this still an example because there is some files created with acrobat but without any possible reduction

to reduce it, one slution for me

i'm obliged de create a new empty PDF file (5-10 ko, often starting from an empty word file) and then i copied text and after that my form and all of scripts .. whith this i can obtain this file with just 20-30 ko !!! not 450 ko with reducing save of the DC PRO for this example

this is easy to do with a simple page ... but with many pages, the solution of copy/paste is very hard to do !!!

another exemple, here a file of 20 Mo ... i deleted many information (personal use) .. i left just a simple button

Try to reduce it with DC PRO and please ... tell me if you found the same thing than me...

THANKS
