Problem with Copy-Paste Spacing in Adobe Acrobat Chrome Extension

Hey everyone,

I've been having a bit of a problem with the Adobe Acrobat extension for Chrome. Whenever I copy text from a PDF using the extension and then paste it somewhere else, the spaces between words aren't being copied over. This means all the words get squished together, making it really hard to read.

I've tried a few things to fix it, but no luck so far. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas on how to solve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Have you opened the same PDF in another viewer and had the same problem?

if it just in the Adobe add -in maybe you can raise an issue here:https://acrobat.uservoice.com/

Hi @ProPoPl

Have you happen to find the solution to this issue or still experiencing the same problem?

Have you recently made any changes, like installing the latest patch or updating Acrobat to the latest version? Was it working fine before that?

Maybe you could give it a try by removing/disabling the Chrome extension or

Just Open Acrobat>help>repair installation (Win only)

Check with any other file on the web, as it could be file specific issue. And do you experience the same thing when downloading the file locally and copying text from here?

Thanks,

Akanchha

I also see this issue when I copy and paste from Chrome's Adobe extension. However, if I download the .pdf and launch in the actual Adobe PDF application, I'm able to retain formatting when I copy and paste.
