Problem with OCR and my PDF in japanese

I am trying to use OCR with my single page document on japanese, but no matter what I try OCR finds no text or shows error number 6.

Could anyone help me?

Thanks for reporting the issue. Please help us with a few queries.
1. Is it happening for all Japenese PDFs. ?
2. Are you using the latest version of Acrobat?
3. Has this started happening after any recent update of Acrobat?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

In case you are still looking for a solution, I was able to get it to work on the latest version of the application (2024.005.20414).

Would you mind updating the app and letting us know if it fixed the issue for you?

To do so, go to Menu-> Help-> Check for Updates.
