Hi All
Hope you are doing well.
The new version of Acrobat (23.06.20360) is now available, addressing this issue.
Please update the application from the help menu > check for updates and reboot the computer once.
You may also download the patch manually from the help page https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html
For more information about the new release, please go through the help article https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/adobe-acrobat-and-reader-october-2023-updates-now-available/td-p/14165099
...Hi @carstenw98893883,

Acrobat 2020 is the perpetual licence, and this one may not have been updated currently.

Hey there,
for me there was a solution to search for updates manually even if a had "automatically updates" activated. I just openes Acrobat > Help > search for updates.
There was an update to version 2020.005.30539. After this it works fine again - maybe it'll works for you also.

Hi, I'm also affected with this problem. I'm using Acrobat Pro. The problem occurs with different PDF files, different sources etc.:

Is there going to be a solution for this?

Hello Amal,
check for update shows Adobe 2020 is already running the most actual version.
The manual download of the patch is not working because my MAC can only execute files from the App Store
Can you help me?

Dear Amal, do I have to uninstall Adobe from my MAC before installing the patch? If i try to install the patch AcrobatDCUpd2300620360.dmg the first steps are ok but then it is not possible to choose the Acrobat App (the shown Apps are inactive/grey, see the screenshot) and the installation process stops. Apple support says perhaps I have to first uninstall Adobe from my MAC before running the patch. Kind regards, Angela

I would guess that you have Acrobat 2020 and the patch is for Acrobat DC 23.xx.

Dear Abambo, you are right, I tried to use the wrong patch. So I have to wait for the 2020 patch? Is there any timeline for the release? I'm using 2020.005.30524.

For understandable reasons, Adobe does not publish a timeline. However, as they seemingly have solved the issue for Acrobat DC (23.XX), I suppose that the solution will come out soon.
