PROBLEMS After Acrobat 2021.005.20048.4325 update PLEASE HELP!

I am using Adobe Acrobat version 2021.005.20048.43252, Microsft Office Home and Business 2016, and Windows 10 Professional with all the latest updates.  This is the version of Acrobat that I was updated to yesterday, 6/9/2021, around 6 pm when the problems began.

Now, when I go to Word and click on the Acrobat tab and select CREATE PDF, then click save file,  I get the following error (File attached).  I tried reinstalling and I still get the same error.  Printing to PDF works. Saving as PDF works.  However, no matter what, clicking on the CREATE PDF icon does not work.  Is there a Hotfix or a Patch I need to install?

This was working before my Acrobat updated; literally 10 minutes before the adobe update everything was working properly.

PLEASE HELP!

Hi Michell

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, Create PDF option is not working in MS office since the application updated to version 21.05.20048. You also tried reinstalling the application with no success.

Please try to reboot the computer once and see if that helps.

If it doesn't work, please try to repair the installation (Win Only) from the help menu and check. Go to Help > Repair Installation.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there and check.

If it still doesn't work, please try the steps suggested in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-acrobat-pdfmaker-problems-office.html

Hi

Is this happening with all files or a particular Word file?

Can you please try re-installing Office and Acrobat and let us know if that fixes the issue?

Thanks

Hi

We are aware of one issue with PDFMakers and engineering team is working on the fix. To confirm that it is the same issue you are facing, can you please temporarily replace this file "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\libeay32.dll", with the libeay32.dll present in Acrobat install folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat\" and check if the problem goes away ? Please note, that this is just to check what the issue is. Replacing this DLL might cause issues with other apps. So keep a back up of the original file and revert once the test is done.

Thanks
